PRIMER ENCUENTRO DE NEGOCIOS RELACIONADOS CON EL TURISMO
El pasado 16 de septiembre se celebró en la ciudad de Tucson, Arizona el “Primer Encuentro de Negocios de Tour Operadores Turísticos” en el Consulado de México en Tucson, Arizona. Señalando el encargado de despacho de la Comisión de Fomento al Turismo (COFETUR) en Sonora, Héctor Platt Mazón, que esta acción es parte de los acuerdos de la última reunión de la Comisión Sonora – Arizona.
“En coordinación con la Oficina de Turismo de Arizona y Visit Tucson organizaron ese evento en el que más de 90 empresarios turísticos se reunieron para estrechar relaciones de negocios, en donde los Tour Operadores de Sonora y Arizona conocieron más de ambas entidades y puedan promocionar los servicios que prestan y promueven, como un equipo y respaldados por la estrategia de unir a dos estados hermanos en una sola Megarregión”.
Los asistentes cumplieron con el propósito del encuentro con el intercambio de experiencias, ideas y propuestas con el objetivo de atraer a más turistas para ambos estados y establecer las bases para futuras reuniones y desarrollar mejor el turismo con el beneficio de los que demandan esos servicios, para fines vacacionales y de negocios.
Por lo anterior se analizaron los temas torales en Sonora y para el sector, como lo son: el Programa Only Sonora, Conociendo al Turista Americano, San Carlos Destino de clase Mundial, entre otros como Puerto Peñasco. la ciudad de Álamos, mejorarlos y promoverlos centrando el servicio y atención el en turista.
Así mismo, en las mesas de trabajo se compartió la información de las empresas con quienes se podrán realizar acuerdos comerciales, compartir experiencias y hacer negocio que generen desarrollo de beneficio común.
Los acuerdos logrados al final de este encuentro fueron los de proseguir celebrando reuniones periódicas en ambos estados con los mismos fines de dar seguimiento y la de fortalecer aún más las relaciones entre ambos estados sin un muro que no detengan las mejoras para mismas comunidades.

FIRST TOURISM BUSINESS MEETING
The “First Business Meeting of Tourist Operator Tours” was held at the Consulate of Mexico in the city of Tucson, Arizona, last 16th of September. Hector Platt Mazón, acting Director of the Tourism Promotion Commission (COFETUR) of Sonora, said that this action is part of the resolutions taken in the last meeting of the Sonora-Arizona Commission.
“In coordination with the Tourism Office of Arizona and Visit Tucson, this event was attended by 90 tourist entrepreneurs who met for the purpose of strengthening business relationships, where the Sonora Tour Operators of Sonora and Arizona learned more about both states and may promote the services provided and promoted, as a team, supported by the strategy of joining both brother states in one sole Megaregion”.
The attendants achieved the purpose of the meeting through the interchange of experiences, ideas and proposals in an attempt to attract more tourists for both states and set out the bases for future meetings to develop tourism for the benefit of those demanding such services, for either vacation or business purposes.
The main topics of Sonora and the sector were analyzed such as: the Only Sonora Program, Knowing the American Tourist, San Carlos – World Class Destination Point, among others, including Puerto Peñasco and the city of Alamos, to enhance and promote tourist service and attention.
Information of the firms where trade agreements may be negotiated, experiences may be shared and business may be generated, was shared in the work tables.
The resolutions adopted at the end of this meeting were to hold future periodic meetings in both states to provide follow-up and strengthen the relationships between both states with no wall to stop the improvements for the same communities.
The meeting was attended by Juan Ciscomani, Responsible for International Affairs of the Office of Governor Doug Ducey; Ricardo Pineda Albarrán, Consul of Mexico in Tucson; Felipe García, from Visit Tucson; Luis Alberto González, Director of Promotion and Events for COFETUR; Beckie Blaine, representative of the Tourism Office of Arizona and other business representatives.
