Un gran proyecto que ya se conoce a nivel mundial: Interés de europeos por el proyecto del corredor del Istmo de Tehuantepec

 

El director general del organismo público descentralizado del Corredor Interoceánico del Istmo de Tehuantepec (CIIT), Rafael Marín Mollinedo, dijo que hay interés del Banco Europeo de Inversiones, además de empresas nacionales Se estiman recursos de 259 mil millones de pesos, 100 mil millones los aportaría el gobierno federal y el resto la iniciativa privada; se planean 10 parques industriales

Extranjeros y nacionales, particularmente a través del Banco Europeo de Inversiones, tienen interés en el proyecto del Corredor del Istmo de Tehuantepec, en el cual se estiman recursos por 259 mil millones de pesos -100 mil millones los aportaría el gobierno federal- y el resto la iniciativa privada, así como para crear 10 parques industriales, afirmó el director general del Organismo Público Descentralizado del Corredor Interoceánico del Istmo de Tehuantepec (CIIT), Rafael Marín Mollinedo.

Explicó que, tras una reunión con embajadores de la Unión Europea hace un mes, sostuvo un encuentro con el presidente del Banco Europeo de Inversiones, Werner Hoyer, a quien se le presentó el plan para desarrollar el Corredor y mostró interés en él, por lo que llegará a México una comisión de la institución crediticia para analizarlo a detalle y ver oportunidades de negocio.

Marín Mollinedo destacó que en el Corredor Interoceánico del Istmo de Tehuantepec se promoverá a la industria e inversión nacional y ya se han realizado encuentros con muchos potenciales participantes que han mostrado interés en entrar al proyecto, particularmente en los 10 parques industriales que se planean.

“Tenemos una infraestructura que estamos desarrollando en el Istmo de Tehuantepec, además del proyecto de los parques industriales que vamos a establecer alrededor de la vía del tren”. Esta decena de parques en todo el Corredor se van a instalar de manera paulatina, por etapas, precisó.

Dijo que aún es pronto para saber a cuánto ascendería la inversión extranjera en el Istmo de Tehuantepec; pero enfatizó que hay mucho interés de los europeos. “Quedamos de acuerdo con el embajador de la Unión Europea que vamos a estar en contacto con ellos, para hacerles una presentación más amplia”.

He explained, after the meeting held with ambassadors of the European Union last month, that he has met with the president of the European Bank of Investments, Werner Hoyer, having submitted a plan to develop the Corridor and he had shown interest.  A commission of the credit institution  will arrive in Mexico to analyze the details and business opportunities.

Marín Mollinedo highlighted that the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec  will be promoted among the domestic industry and investment;  they have held several meetings with a number of potential participants who have shown interest in the project, specifically in the 10 industrial parks.

“We have a certain infrastructure that is being developed in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in addition to the industrial park project that will be created around the railway”. These ten parks all along the corridor shall be established gradually, in phases, he stated.

He added that it was too early to know the amount of the foreign investment in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec;  however, he emphasized that there was a great interest among the Europeans. “We told the ambassador of the European Union that we would be in touch with them to ´provide a detailed presentation. “
